Our History

CElebrating 125 Years of God's Faithfulness!

The First Baptist Church of Morrison was established in 1899 . The congregation's first building, built in 1903, stood at the corner of 3rd and B street in Morrison. In the  1980s the congregation moved to its current location on Highway 64 at the west end of Morrison.

In 2007, the church changed their name to Hilltop Country Church. The 2010s were vibrant years of growth and ministry for Hilltop.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought many challenges for Hilltop as it did for so many churches across our nation. But in the grace and kindness of God, Hilltop survived and is thriving again today! The church gathers weekly for worship, fellowship, and encouragement from God’s Word.

1 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Serve the Lord with jubilation;
Come before Him with rejoicing.
3 Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
